To start, speak to King Roald in the Varrock Palace. He is in the first room on the right as you enter the main palace doors. The quest start point marked with a blue Astrix on the minimap. He will tell you that he hasn't heard from his friend Drezel in a while, and will ask you to look for him in the temple east of varrock. Go out of the city through the east exit, go north and go through the wooden gate. Follow the path east, past the giant bats to the temple.
Knock on the door. After asking where Drezel is, a suspicious voice from inside the temple will tell you to go kill the Temple Guardian. Do as you are told and go through the trapdoor in the graveyard to the north. Once down, you will see a Level 30 Temple Guardian. Kill it. REMEMBER, YOU CANNOT USE MAGIC. After killing it, go back to the door to the temple.
Knock on the door again, a laughing voice will reply and tell you to report back to King Roald. Varrock teleport and go talk to the king. After telling him what you have done, he will become enraged, telling you to go back and see what damage you can undo.
Go back to the temple and knock on the door, after knocking it will swing open. Kill a Zamorak Monk to get a Golden Key, this may take a few attempts. Once you got the key, Go to the very top of the temple and talk to drezel. He will explain his predicament, and ask you to help him.
Go back down the trapdoor into the dungeon, go past the room where you fought the guardian into a room with statues around a well. Study the statues until you see the one with an iron key. Don't try to to just take it, as you will be damaged. Instead, use the golden key on the statue. You will swap the keys. Fill your bucket with water and go back to drezel.
Return to Drezel at the top of the temple and use the iron key on the door, then speak to him. After realizing that the water in your Bucket is not blessed, ask him to bless it for you. Next use the Bucket of blessed water on the coffin to seal the vampire inside. Talk to Drezel again, and he will tell you to meet him in the dungeon.
Go back to the statue room and through the door to the next room. Drezel will be waiting in there for you. Talk to him and he will tell you that the river was unblessed by the zamorakians. To purify it, he will need something absorbent and magical. Suggest that you use rune essence, (Rune Mysteries Required). He will agree, and ask you to give him 50 rune/pure essence to purify the river. (Use a Varrock teleport to speed things up).
Return to Drezel and give him the required amount of essence, once done speak to him again to complete the quest. Congratulations!
