Jordy's One and Only Invention Guide
Equipment needed:
- Augmented Nox Staff ** or an augmented crystal staff (disassemble it) or augmented staff of light/its prodigy (siphon it)
- Amulet of Souls (very important)
- Hood of Subjugation
- Gloves of Subjugation
- Augmented Ganodermic Top
- Augmented Ganodermic Bottom
- Ragefire Boots
- Max Cape (once you're 99 - also be sure to add the invention cape to your perks) or the TzHaar Magic Cape
- Sixth Age Circuit
- Illuminated God Book
AURAS ARE KEY:
- Penance Aura - your best friend
- Vampyrism - your 2nd best friend
- Superior Runic Accuracy - your 3rd best friend
OPTIONAL (but highly recommended):
INVENTORY:
- Enhanced Excalibur
- x1000+ blood runes
- x50000+ fire runes (unless you want to start with lower and restock once you've made some money from muspahs)
- x200-500 Magic Notepaper
- x2 Holy Overload Flasks (the crystal flask with half ovl half prayer renewal)
- x6 Super Restore (or regular prayer) Flasks ****
- x4-6 Rocktails
- Charm Impling
- *Ensure the rest is empty space for drops
**** You will not need prayer or super restore flasks if you are using the Penance Aura
The Routine:
- Make sure you have at least 100k charges in your charge pack
- Make sure you have Ancient Magic on and your Auto-cast set to Blood Blitz
- Turn on auto-retaliate
- Use Vix Wax to extend Aura to two hours (if you're staying two hours)
- If you have a legendary pet (again, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED): make sure you have its "Scavenge" ability activated - set it so that it picks up Runes, Armor, and Noted Items
- Ensure you're on your Magic Ability Bar and that you have Revolution turned on
- On your Ability Bar, make sure your Area of Effect abilities are at the beginning of bar
- Also, make sure Sunshine is on your bar
- Teleport to World Gate with Circuit
- Enter Freneskae and select "Cradle"
- Activate your Aura
- Use your Excalibur
- Drink your Holy Overload
- Pray Soul Split****
- Attack away!
- Ensure you're using Sunshine as OFTEN as possible, and that you're always using Asphyxiate and Wild Magic as often as possible, too (but Sunshine should have priority)
- Pick up every drop except for the noted lobster, flax, arrowheads, and the weird backbone things - make sure you're constantly noting things so that you don't have to bank while your aura is activated
- Note: even if you have the legendary pet picking up things, they're not 100% accurate, so be sure you're paying attention (for the most part)
- Get in the habit of whenever you re-overload, use your Excalibur
**** If you're using the Penance Aura, ALSO pray the level 95 prayer that boosts Magic Accuracy - don't do it if you're using any of the other two auras because your prayer will drain too fast and you won't make it the full two hours
Invention Training:
- Disassemble your armor when it reaches level 10 - you should be making more than enough with the drops at muspah to continually buy armor and augment it
- SIPHON (please don't disassemble) the staff when it reaches level 12
You'll be needing lots of...
- Simple Components - disassemble yew logs
- Powerful Components - disassemble yak pouches
- Enhancing Components - disassemble slayer rings or diamond/dragonstone amulets (slayer rings are much better and don't cost anything)
- Precious Components - disassemble the same as above (slayer rings or higher-tiered amulets)
