Alongside the removal of Treasure Hunter a few weeks ago, we also launched an updated Marketplace, where you can purchase outfits, pets, animations, and more using RuneCoins.

We’ll be iterating on this system throughout the year, with the current plan to refresh the stock monthly, introducing brand-new items and rotating in previously available favourites. To help keep the marketplace feeling fresh, we will occasionally remove some items, generally these will be items that aren't actively being purchased, the intent isn't to remove these items indefinitely but just to rotate in some new faces.

Today we will be updating the available stock with the following items. Please note that

• Zamorak armour bundle

Just a quick reminder that we plan to have a short maintenance tomorrow February 10th at 9am UTC which should last for approximately 20 minutes. General

• Added functionality to allow players with remaining shards from the inverted skillcapes event to exchange them with Hans between the 9th and 15th of February.
• Added some hints to make it clearer that you need to have Princess with you as a follower to progress 'Princess and the Pauper'.
• Added 'a bowl of water' to the required item list for 'Princess and the Pauper'.
• Fixed typos in 'Princess and the Pauper' quest.
• Princess is now correctly visible at the start of 'Princess and the Pauper' for all players.
• Fixed a bug that prevented the bottom four quests in Timeline->World Guardian sort from appearing.
• Added "Follows events of: The World Wakes" to "The Death of Chivalry" quest.
• Reclassified the "Stellar Born" quest from Ambiguous to Age of Chaos, due to its Sixth Age skill requirements and reference to Tuska.
• "Kili Row"" is now listed between "Necromancy!" and "Rune Mythos" when sorting quests by Timeline, rather than after "The Spirit of War" (since "The Spirit of War" unlocks additional Kili upgrades).
• Changed the flashbang in the Chosen Commander quest to fire off only once.
• The delivery package item is no longer visible when a player attempts to harvest wisps.
• Chat message will now correctly state what happened with the reward when capturing a Seren Spirit.
• The Sparky pet is no longer transparent in the pet preview interface.
• Improved sorting of seasonal quests in the Quests tab.
• Certain call to action buttons across the game should be more consistent now. This includes mobile, where these buttons appear red.
• The captain's log and the ports table in Fort Forinthry will now open the ship status interface just like before.
• Interface elements with multiple right-click options should now show "+ x options" in the tooltip.
• The 'It's Alive' emote no longer causes the players head to appear invisible.
• The Ironman plaque has been updated with more Group Ironman achievements from groups that have completed achievements in all group sizes.

Engine

• Fixed an issue where some animations were overlapping ​and did not display key visual queues to the players.

Boss School

A learner-focused community dedicated to making PvM more accessible to everyone, regardless of previous experience or skill level. Among the group bosses we regularly teach are Raids, Vorago, and Amascut.

The PvP Showdown returns!

Yes, we are back! In 2025 we hosted the PvP Showdown event, and you guys really enjoyed it. Since then, we’ve been working hard on improvements and incorporating feedback from our community to make this event even better.

What is PvP Showdown?

PvP Showdown is the most intense and thrilling (safe deaths) PvP event of the year, where only the best and most strategic players will survive. Get ready to test your combat skills, starting with Deathmatch, where you’ll battle other players for a spot among the top 8. Those players will advance to bracket-style knockout rounds in the Clan Wars purple portal.

Rewards, We’re also bringing back the RuneScape Discord titles for one month. The Ultimate PKer title will be awarded to first place, while second and third place will receive the Master PKer title. Both titles feature a unique color and the PK-skull icon. In addition, each winner will rewarded with a bond.

How do I join?

There’s no sign-up required this year. Just show up at 15:45 Game Time in the Deathmatch lobby W76 on February 12th, or watch us live on the Official RuneScape Twitch Channel at 17:00 Game Time.
