It's Castle Wars Thursday, coming in with a special. Bust out your full rune, green dragonhide and staff of fire, we're going f2p. This will obviously largely be based on trust, since we can't make sure that for example noone brings super strength pots instead of strength pots, but I'd hope we can make castle wars work fully f2p.
Due to popular demand I have also moved the event to 9 PM. Feel free to give me feedback on this and I will also see how it impacts the number of active players on thursday.

It is once again time to meet upon the battlefield of the castle wars arena. Battle your enemy in the name of your god (that will be randomly assigned) and retrieve their banner to bring shame and defeat upon them. Hold them in place using your magic* and send them back to their base with a well timed spec.

Ice Barrage will be banned, so be creative with ZGS, Dragon Spear, Ice Blitz and all the other freezes you can think of.

Regular Castle Wars is back with a bang!

Following Mr Bee's recent Castle Wars event; we are resuming them in their original slot of 11pm GMT on every Thursday.

Events will be hosted and organised by Hustler Goon, Deathsbite and other members of the minigame team such as Mr Bee.

This first event is being hosted by myself.

Meet at Castle Wars world 327 at 23:00 GMT. Do not enter a portal until myself or another rank has said its time to enter otherwise we will need to hop worlds.

Remember to bring a castle wars bracelet or you will be at a massive disadvantage.

For the first time we will be implementing a new rule:

- Use of ice barrage will be banned from the game, though other ancient magic spells are permitted. We feel that ice barrage is too overpowered for other members and banning it will encourage lower levels to attend. As ever we appreciate your feedback on our matches.

It's about time for the weekly castle wars event again.
We are going to fight randomly assigning teams using the Guthix portal.
Since there has been many complaints about Ice Barrage killing the fun for a lot of people, we are going to ban Ice Barrage from this event in the interest of getting higher scores and see how castle wars plays without it.
Freezes like Ice Blitz, Zamorak Godsword or Dragon Spear will still be alowed however, so be creative :)

We will be meeting 11 PM Runeguru time at Castle Wars.
